DR650 FAQ - Exhaust
Do I need an exhaust gasket when installing the FMF Q4?
When installing the FMF Q4 can to my stock DR650 header, do I need need a gasket?
A:No gasket is required. However, if you are mounting an FMF (or Two Bros. or SuperTrapp) header to the stock muffler, then you need the gasket.
Better Sound available?
I'd like to get an FMF slip on exhaust for my 2007 DR650. All I really want is a better sound, the extra ponies don't mean much. Will it be OK if I don't do any jetting changes or airbox modifications? I'm mechanically challenged and really don't want to get into something that could affect the motors long term use.
A:If you make no changes to the airbox the stock jetting will be just fine.
